6:00 PM – 7:00 PM: Clarity of Movement– Exploring our personal mechanics from the ground up.
7:00 PM – 8:00 PM: Spin Technique for Everyone– How to create balanced, controlled spins in our own bodies and how to lead them.
8:00 PM – 9:00 PM: Song Structure + Musicality– What makes up a song and how that influences our choices as a leader and follower.
9:00 PM – 12:00 AM: Social Party– Practice, dance, and connect!

Important Info:A solid understanding of West Coast Swing fundamentals is required to participate in these workshops. Dancers must be comfortable with the basic patterns (push, pass, whip, and tuck) and timing. If you are new to WCS or need a refresher but would like to participate in the workshops, you may take a private lesson beforehand to go over the fundamentals, which are necessary to participate in the workshops.
