What Is A Practice Party?
A practice party is a safe place to practice all you learned alongside other students. At the practice party, the teachers will announce to you what song is playing, and what kind of dance it is, and they will be there to help, guide, and dance with you. It is a great way to practice dancing before you hit the real world. It gives you the ability to learn floor craft and move around the dance floor much more smoothly and with more confidence.
These practice parties are good for the mind and body and can be a fantastic way to let off steam and escape from the world. The goal is to improve your dance skills and have fun socializing with the other students.

Who Can Attend?
All Souk Dance Studio members are welcome to attend our practice parties! These events are designed to help students build confidence and put their skills to the test in a fun and supportive environment. It’s the perfect opportunity to practice what you’ve learned in private lessons and group classes.
Non-members can join the fun for a fee of $15.
What Can A Dancer Learn?
Practice parties allow dancers to improve their lead and follow skills, floor craft and gain extended practice in the dances they’ve learned and enjoyed in their Private Lessons and group classes, such as West Coast Swing, Salsa, Two-Step, Line dances, Waltz, Polka, Cha-Cha, Rumba, Foxtrot, Tango, Hustle, Club Swing, Bachata, and more.
